Boys too pricey, say band’s fans
FANS of the Backstreet Boys, who will perform in Sun City’s Superbowl on June 14 and 15, complained yesterday at ticket prices which start at R475. “It’s not as if they were still at the top of the charts,” pointed out one.
The band – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – took a break from 2002 to 2005, before recording their last album, Unbreakable, which was described by the show’s promoters as “an instant radio hit last year”. — DDR
