Backstreet Boys Will Perform Live On The ‘TRL’ Finale!

Wake up, Backstreet fans! In less than a month from now, all five Backstreet Boys — the band that’s synonymous with O.G. TRL, stark-raving mad fans, lockstep dance moves and synchronized sultry stares — will return to TRL and bring all of the aforementioned with them (including Kevin!)
People, before there was Kevin Jonas, there was Kevin Richardson. And before the Jonas Brothers bit us with their lil “Lovebug” and had all of Times Square “Burnin’ Up,”
Backstreet Boys laid down the law of love, imploring girls around the
world to “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” — when Kevin (Jonas) was
just 11.
And on the bittersweet TRL finale on Sunday, November 16, Backstreet Boys will perform live again on the TRL stage, one last time before the TRL lights go dark forever. (Sniff!)
Also, don’t miss performances by Fall Out Boy, Beyonce, and Ludacris, and appearances by Mariah Carey, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Benji and Joel Madden, Fred Durst, Jonathan Davis of Korn and more!
Carson Daly himself will be there, along with Damien, Lyndsey, and a motley crew of TRL and old-school MTV alum — like Quddus — will be stopping by.

got to the studio just as the show ended because his flight was delayed
earlier and he was stuck en route from jfk to mtv. that's why he missed
the trl episode. no protesting against them not being #1, haha.

and i'm not sure about kevin coming back to do anything for the finale,
but samuel l. jackson filmed an introduction to the boys' performance
in between the trl & finale tapings today. so it won't be to
introduce them like was being speculated.

lemme just say that today was just AWESOME... even though it was
FREEZING and rainy and windy outside... standing outside a building
i've seen countless times and always wanted to be invited in while
talking Backstreet with less than 100 fans and leaving SayNow
messages... with my best Backstreet friends...

Anyway so after making friends with the random MTV workers and finding
other fans who were going to shows or went to the same shows, we spent
lots of time being led around like cons hah... though to be honest we
didn't really wait THAT long.. the whole thing was DONE by 7 and they
checked tickets at 445... more joking around with the workers... told
non BSB people what our hats were about and they were SO amused by the
action figures haha (yes we brought them, and they totally rocked out
during the performances haha)

So we were lead in, they picked like.. 20-25 people to sit behind the
guys on this little stage thing... no posters were allowed anywhere but
on stage. I was in the "pit" area in front of the stage, more towards
the back which ended up being better cuz i got to have more fun and
move around. To those up front: Dude, what was with everyone just
standing there after the first performance of IWITW???

we had people telling us when to scream, be louder, be quieter etc
hah.. which in the beginning was eh but later was amusing. This one guy
realized that i was a loud screamer and singer and was behind me
telling me when to scream, when to clap, to start to sway to the
beat... and, my fave, when to yell "I LOVE YOU!" at the Boys... twas
soooo funny. Love that dude. And they loved when the crowd interacted
so we made sure to be insane and sing to each other.

Ok about the Boys: They were so delicious. Like for real. Howie i think
got the loudest screams whenever he did a solo. He looked so amused
during IWITW when he got the screams. The Boys made fun of Nick for not
being a man and for not being good at math.(btw what is with him
counting in spanish now? hah) Nick gave Bri a kiss and hilarity ensued.
AJ made a hand-heart back at my friend (kinda inside thing but my
friends and i are trying to get all the guys to do it for
us...yeah...). Um oh Howie laughed and us making fun of Nick singing
"you got it" during AIHTG... amused us. AJ had fun showing off his
jacket... something about the lights or something really showed off his
neck tattoos... Brian had fun pretending to get plastic surgery.

Nick's hands were softer than i expected... random i know but they were
rushed out cuz MTV was rushing and behind (guessing it was cuz Bri was
late) and quickly tried to shake hands with people... though i was in
the back i'm wicked tall so got Nick's attention and he like reached
over all the short chicks and gave me this smile like "yeah i see
ya"... made me laugh.

after went back on the PATH to Jerz... and ran to a DD to get some
drinks... told that guy i'd hurt him if i had no voice for the concert
on Fri haha...

um... dunno if there's anything else to say... still can't believe i
went... i've never met the guys and don't have money for VIP or going
to many concerts and so after 11 years of following them, nearly all
with TRL involved of course, it was just.. surreal

Fifi wrote:Well it is because she was saying a day before when the FC said we should watch TRL, she was saying "No the guys won't be in the live show yadayada" and who was IN the live show? CHLOE! She is friends with Chris (AJ's Friend) since the tour and she goes telling everything she knows on LD. But most of the time those are lies, she said she fucked Howie and stuff.
